Lambda Alliance is the University of Georgia's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered student organization. All LGBT persons and allies are welcomed. Churches -A number are welcoming to gay men and lesbians. The most accepting (other than the Metropolitan Community Church, which does not have a church in Northeast Georgia!) is the Episcopal Church. In Northeast Georgia, there are -- Episcopal churches. Links are at left.
Other churches we know of include Unity in Gainesville and the Unitarian-Universalist Church in Dahlonega.
